The firm was founded in September 1999 by Mrs Sarasvathi Sagathevan who has been in practice for more than 25 years. The practice is focused on general civil litigation and personal injury claims on behalf of claimants, as well as an array of defendant matters. Our firm can easily navigate both instituted and defended matters and therefore can see both sides of the proverbial coin. Saras Sagathevan Attorneys Inc. has dealt with over 3000 High Court matters over the years with an excellent success rate. As a result thereof, we have procured a number of reported judgments in the High Court of South Africa.
Our firm has served on the following panels: SABC, RAF, TRANSNET, the City of Ekurhuleni, Scorpion, and Clientelle.
We are currently panelists for The HPCSA, NBCRFLI, and the Gauteng Department of Human Settlements.
We have provided top-notch legal assistance to all of our corporate and private clients, with each matter having been resolved favorably and timeously.

Our Practise’s Predominant Focus Is Litigation

Saras Sagathevan and Attorneys has over the years of practise, undertaken both Magistrate Court, High court and Labour Court litigation matters on behalf of her clients and has maintained a high success rate with litigation matters. We are predominantly involved in High Court litigation.
